(1) Air-conditioning foil
Air conditioning foil is a special material for manufacturing heat exchanger fins for air conditioners. The early air conditioning foil is plain foil. In order to improve the surface properties of plain foil, the hydrophilic foil was formed by coating anticorrosive inorganic coating and hydrophilic organic coating before forming. Hydrophilic foil accounts for 50% of the total air conditioning foil, and its use ratio will be further increased. In addition, there is a hydrophobic foil, which makes the fin surface hydrophobic and prevents condensate from sticking to it. Because the technology of improving defrosting property of hydrophobic foil needs further study, the actual production is very few.
The thickness of air conditioning foil ranges from 0.1 mm to 0.15 mm. With the development of technology, air-conditioning foil has a trend of further thinning. The leading product thickness in Japan is 0.09mm. In the extremely thin state, aluminum foil must have good formability, uniform structure and properties, less metallurgical defects, less anisotropy, higher strength, good ductility, uniform thickness and good flatness. The specifications and alloys of air-conditioning foil are relatively simple and suitable for large-scale production, but its market seasonality is strong. For professional manufacturers of air-conditioning foil, it is difficult to solve the contradiction between short supply in peak season and almost no demand in off season.
Due to the strong driving force of market demand, the production capacity and technical level of air conditioning foil in China have been continuously improved in recent years, and now a large, medium, medium and low-level enterprise group has been formed. The product quality of some large enterprises, such as North China Aluminum and Bohai Aluminum, has basically reached the international advanced level. Due to the excessive domestic production capacity, the market competition is extremely fierce.
(2) Cigarette packaging foil
China is the largest cigarette producing and consuming country in the world. At present, 146 large cigarette factories in China produce 34 million boxes of cigarettes annually. They are basically packed with cigarette foil. Among them, 30% are sprayed foil, 70% are rolled aluminium foil. The consumption of rolled aluminium foil is 35,000 tons. With the enhancement of people's health awareness and the impact of imported cigarettes, the growth of demand for cigarette foil has slowed down significantly. It is expected that there will be a slight increase in recent years. China's cigarette packaging foil accounts for 70% of the total double-zero foil. At present, there are two or three enterprises in China that can produce high-quality cigarette foil. The technology level is comparable to the international level, but the overall quality of domestic cigarette foil has a certain gap with the international level.
(3) Decorative foil
Decorative foil is a decorative material used in the form of aluminium-plastic composite, which makes use of the characteristics of aluminium foil with good coloring and high light-heat reflectivity. Mainly used for decoration of buildings and furniture and part of gift box packaging. The application of decorative foil in China's construction industry began in the 1990s. It spreads rapidly from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and other central cities to all parts of the country. In recent years, the demand has increased sharply. It is generally used as decorative materials for the interior walls of buildings and interior furniture. It is also widely used in the front and interior decoration of commercial institutions.
Decorative foil has the advantages of heat insulation, moisture-proof, sound insulation, fire prevention and easy cleaning. It is also luxurious in appearance, convenient in processing and fast in construction and installation. At present, China's construction and home decoration industry has formed an upsurge in the application of decorative foil. With the rapid development of China's construction industry and the continuous popularization of decorative foil applications, the demand for decorative foil will increase substantially. In addition, the use of decorative foil packaging gifts is very popular abroad, in recent years in China's rapid development, it is expected that there will be better prospects.
(4) Cable foil
Cable foil is a kind of aluminium # plastic composite foil, which is made up of aluminium foil with sealing and shielding properties and is coated with plastic film on one or both sides. It is used as a shield for cables. Cable foil requires less oil on the surface, no holes, high mechanical properties, low overall quality requirements, but very strict length requirements.
Domestic advanced cold rolling mill, 10000 rolling mill and aluminium foil roughing mill can be produced, but the market growth is poor, domestic demand is about 25,000 tons per year.
